2017 Guatemala Mission Trip Day #2

It was a big first day of building for our teams!

Doug's team (with the adult/family group) was blessed to have a great worksite that was well prepared in advance and with lots of space to work. There house is for Pastor Juan's son and his family.

Two of the three adult sites were pretty challenging. One was up a steep hill, while the other is working in very tight spaces. Nonetheless, everyone enjoyed the hard day of work, knowing that we're serving families in great need, while serving the Lord. One of the families is a couple in their mid-70s, receiving their first home that will have a door that will lock. We're so proud of the team for a hard day's work!

Our student teams had a great day in Guatemala. Concrete day is always the hardest day, but everyone stuck with it and finished all of the foundations. They ended the day with an awesome time of worship and small groups. Tomorrow the walls go up!
