Group Description
My name is Kelly Falcone. I've been married 30 years in August to Brent and we have three kiddos and a son in law. Alexis (27) and husband Jordan, Abby (25) and Gabe (23). We've been at Northside for, well a really, really long time. We were married at the Grantline Location if that tells you anything. Last year, I read a book by Emerson Eggrichs called Mother and Son, and it impacted me profoundly. Sometimes the relationship between us mamas and our boys leaves us scratching our head. After reading this book, I felt my eyes were opened and I had been given knowledge that was a key to understanding and loving this man and child of mine the way he needed. The way God designed him to be loved. I remember thinking, man if I only would have had this when he was a little guy! Thats why we are doing this Learning Community! For all of us who would like to learn and be the best mamas we can be to our sons, and help them to be the men God created them to be. I am so excited for this and look forward to learning with a group of Mamas of Sons. Whether your son is a toddler or a young adult, whether you are a teacher, coach, grandmama of boys/men there is so much to share and learn together about the unique creation God created in boys! See you soon! Cant wait to meet you!
To join this Learning Community, just click the "Join Group" button, and fill out the form. This Learning Community will meet for 6 weeks starting on Sunday, April 14th from 11:15am-12:40pm.
There is a $10 cost for online materials needed for this class. This will be video teaching based on the book. Reading the book is not required to participate. The link to purchase, info about room location, and Kidside check in info will be emailed to you after sign up is completed.

After that, you may join the next session which will begin in January. More details will be emailed before the first group meeting. But with Jesus we can still thrive and move forward. Want to know how? Join our discussion group where we will share with and support one another while reading and discussing Charles Stanley’s book: Advancing Through Adversity. Advancing Through Adversity is a Care Group that is a part of Care Night. Care Night has been designed by the Care Ministry to promote unity and create community. It is our hope that Care Night will provide a place for all those who are hurting and broken to find not only a place where “It is okay to not be okay”, but also a place to heal, move forward, and thrive in relationship with Christ and with one another. Group Description
Hi, my name is Albert Nordhoff and I lead a Northside Men group on Thursday evenings. I have been a Christian for over 25 years and my wife, Teresa, and I have been members of NCC since 2015. My wife and I have been married for 33 years and have 2 adult children. Our son and daughter both currently live in Georgia. Our daughter and son-in-law just had their first child last year so we are now proud grandparents as well.
I have been attending Northside Men meetings for about 5 years but have just recently had a change in my job that allowed me the time to step in as a leader. The group that I lead is made up of men of different ages and backgrounds, some are newer in their faith and others have been Christians for years. Regardless, we are all still learning and growing in our faith together. We enjoy sharing experiences and laughter as we help each other to become the men that God has called us to be.

I am a follower of Jesus. I have attended Northside since 2005. I have been married since 2014 to my wife, Mary. We have 4 wonderful children; 3 girls, Kora (2015), Emillia (2016), Cai (2020), and 1 boy, Leo (2018). I am a franchise owner and the Director of Operations for a local family owned and operated Fast Food Restaurant chain called Indi's Chicken. I have several hobbies which include golfing, Japanese anime, Superhero & Fantasy Adventure Movies and shows, and die hard fan of The Golden State Warriors.
The purpose of our group is to provide a safe, comfortable, and non-judgement brotherhood for men in any season of life, seeking accountability for their confessed sins and to be a support community for each other as we repent. Our group is very personal, vulnerable, and authentic with a focus on biblical manhood and winning the battle against sexual bondage.

Group Description
If you would like to join a men’s group with no age limits where you feel comfortable sharing life experiences, where you have a willingness to allow God to work in your life, and where you have a desire to make faith real in your life this may be the group for you. Personally, these are all daily challenges, but meeting with other men makes it easier.
I have years of experience studying God’s word and leading small groups. My passion for God’s word can only be surpassed by the joy of discussing its truth with others. My other joy is spending time with my three adult children. I am a sports fan of football, basketball, and auto racing. I enjoy playing cards with friends and family, especially euchre. I also enjoy the outdoors and fishing.

We are Bud and Stacy Wayne. We have attended Northside for 5 years. We have been married for 19 years. We have a total of four kids, two girls ages 7, 10 and two adult kids not living at home. We have a group that we have been meeting with for a while and are open to new members to join. We meet weekly rotating between Tuesdays (1st & 3rd) & Wednesdays (2nd & 4th).
This is our official rollout as a life group through church, so we are still new at this. We encourage folks that are open to joining a group that may not always have it together; like US but want to grow in their faith and dive into the word. Kids are welcome, but we don't have childcare. We do have a basement with lots of toys where kids can play.

We are an ongoing Christ-Centered 12-Step LIFE RECOVERY Ministry to help you find true freedom and meet year round. Calling all courageous men! Pornography is killing marriages and destroying families. If you are tired of the bondage, isolation, hurt, and shame this causes, this group is for you. It is time we stand up together and become conquerors and the men God calls us to be! Corinthians 16:13 tells us, “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong!” It is time we group together and courageously allow Jesus Christ to lead us into battle! The Donaldsons have been married and attended Northside for 18 years. Both have served in the Northside community as group leaders, prayer team, greeters, Care Ministry, and mission work. They are a blended family blessed with 4 children and 4 grandchildren. This is an online group of people from a variety of backgrounds and in different seasons of life. The co-leaders (or as we like to say facilitators) are Joey & Gail Guerra and Douglass & Heather Hackney. Both couples live in Paoli, IN. We are meeting online Wednesday nights 8-9:15. We are currently using the Northside all church study through Galatians. We never thought an online group could make us feel at home with others and create real connections, but it has! We continue to learn from each other as we discuss the Bible, and each week has truly been a blessing. There's room for more and we hope you can join us.

Group Description
Hi and thanks for checking out our group! We have attended Northside since 2012. Our hobbies center around the outdoors: swimming, boating, camping, traveling (love the beach!), reading, and more. We don’t have kids yet, but it is in our hearts to start a family in God’s timing. We lost our first child to stillbirth in 2020, and have been on our fertility journey for over 6 years now. If you’ve gone through a season of miscarriage, stillbirth, and/or IVF our heart goes out to you. We want to create a group where we can share life (ups & downs), grow, and journey through life together. The heart of our group is to open up, be there for, and grow together. We are an in-home group and hope to be a place to dive deeper into our relationship with Christ, laugh, and hang out together. Along the way, we will discuss studies on books of the Bible, marriage, and life. To join this group, just click the "Join Group" button, fill out the form, and the group leader will follow up soon.

Group Description
I’m Jeff Lemarr. My wife, Heidi, and I have been married since 2006. With our two kids in tow, we moved to this area from Texas and have been at Northside for a couple of years.
I’m Rob Sharpe. My wife, Shaney, and I have been married for 32 years and are blessed with three kids. We’ve been at Northside for three years.
Rob and I met previously in a group and are excited to begin a new journey with both familiar and brand-new faces. We share a vision for facilitating a group that can share the hurts and joys life brings, centering ourselves in God‘s Word. Though “life is like a box of chocolates, you don’t know what you’re going to get”, our Savior prompts us to bear one another’s burdens, and fellowship together. So, whether the day brings something unexpectedly good or decidedly difficult, having a group of people around you to support you, laugh with, cry with, pray with, and rejoice and worship with is a blessing. We would love for you to join us as we grow. To join this group, just click the "Join Group" button, fill out the form, and the group leaders will followup soon.

Group Description
I am a ministry student and a homeschooling Mom of two, who wanted to create a group for both Mom’s to have fellowship and bible study and to encourage Christ centered friendships amongst homeschooled kids. Understanding how important the relationship between a homeschooling Mother and her children is, I wanted a group that included the kids and gave them equal opportunity to form bonds where they are able to support one another and share their love of Jesus. Our groups focus is on the ministry of Motherhood and serving others. (Kids will be able to play and connect while the Mom’s connect over Bible study.) Group Description
Jonathan and Katie have been married for 12 years and have 4 awesome kids aged 4-10. We are originally from Southern Indiana and spent nearly 7 years in Colorado where we developed a love for all things outdoors. We've been through some unexpected challenging seasons together, and by God's grace have come out closer to Him and closer to each other. We would love to walk along side you in your faith journey.
We started this group with Quest 52, and would love to dive into more church-wide, scripture specific, or topical video/book studies. Also, we want to do life with each other, so in addition to regular studies we'll plan for Girls Nights, Guys Nights, Date Night Kid Swaps, Family Game Nights and Cookouts throughout the year.
We also have a heart for encouraging marriages. Paul tells us in Ephesians that the mystery of marriage is profound, and that it refers to Christ and His Church. We want to journey with you to see joy and fulfillment in our marriages by returning to God's pure and simple design, reflecting His love to the world through our love for each other. If you are married, we would love to join in fellowship with you to grow in our relationships with Christ and proactively forge defenses and plans to fight against things that trouble our marriages today (Communication, Raising Children, Finances, Intimacy, In-Law and Family Relationships, Conflict, etc.).

I am 58 years old, happily married for 35 years, and my husband and I have attended Northside for almost 25 years. We have two living children, Abigail, 26 and Jake, 24. We lost our first daughter, Paige, to SIDS in 1994 when she was 6 months old. We also have our fur-baby, Luna, a lovable blonde Labrador. I'm an avid walker, getting up early every morning to stretch my legs (with Luna) for about an hour or so - rain or shine. I work for PNC Bank, traveling between all of the local branches here in the area. I love to read, spend time with my family, and meet with my life group. I have been leading our Women's Life Group with another amazing woman, Marsha Dailey, for several years and our group has grown very close. We enjoy a wide age range from late twenties to retired, and we have women who are single, married, and widowed.

Hey girl! I wanted to start this group for young moms looking to make friends and to learn all about Jesus. I am 26 years old, married and have a 9 month old baby boy. I also have 2 dogs who keep me on my toes! Within the last 3 years I have felt the Holy Spirit move within me to dive deeper into the Bible, live a more Christ-like life, and really be drawn to learning as much as I can about our God. This group will meet at a coffee shop and be very laid back, hanging with the girls, of course drinking coffee, and talking about the GOOD NEWS. It’s going to be so much fun and I can’t wait to find lifelong, like minded, friends to hangout with. Any Season, Interest-Based
Group Description
Hi, my name is Marty and this is a walking interest-based life group. My hope for this group is to build and strengthen a community of individuals through consistency in exercise, companionship, helping others, and spiritual growth. I ask God for the opportunity for us to have God’s grace, hope, love, and faith pour forth from us daily to those around us.
I have attended services regularly at Northside for 10 years. I am a sports and recreation enthusiast but have become a little more sedentary in recent years. I am a single dad with an 11 year old daughter.
In the warmer months, we will walk regularly on Tuesday evenings at the Kevin Hammersmith Memorial Park (the park directly behind Northside) or other various locations. In the colder months, we will walk indoors at Northside or the Green Tree Mall. The location and distance/duration will depend on those in attendance for the day. In the past, most of our walks have been between 45 and 70 minutes. If there are more than 5 in attendance, then we will likely split into smaller groups for the walk. Along the way, we will discuss the weekly sermons and life in general, and include prayer.
Additionally, anyone in the group may propose extra walks at different dates and times for those interested. I have a group set up on the GroupMe app to plan our walks and to communicate with the walking group.
This group is open to those in all seasons of life (couples, singles, women, men, young and old, etc). Please make sure you are healthy for this type of exercise and take the necessary precautions for your well-being.
“There are plenty of difficult obstacles in your path. Don’t allow yourself to become one of them.” – quote from Ralph Marston

We are the "Messiah's Misfits" and we are not home in this broken world. Home is with Jesus one day in eternity and until that day we are here to glorify the name of God and to make His name great! We are not called to be successful, we are called to be obedient and faithful. This often makes us look foolish to the world, but we are called to be fools for Christ's sake. This is what we will pursue and this is how we will spur one another on as we seek God's will together through prayer, scripture, and relationship! Group Description
I am Tim Montgomery and live in the Sellersburg area. I am currently a consultant that travels every week Monday through Friday. It is great going to church on Sunday, but I miss connecting with a small group. Obviously, travel makes it very difficult to attend a "traditional" small group. I am excited about starting a virtual small group for individuals in similar circumstances. I am looking forward to connecting with Men in similar circumstances. Sharing our unique trials given life on the road... how God can use us in our circumstances and grow our faith. I am married with three adult children, who are all living on their own (one married). Even though we will be a virtual group, I also look forward to finding some opportunities were we can connect in person.

My husband, Waitman Steele, and I first came to Northside in February of 1990 looking for a strong children’s program for our two year old, as well as, a strong biblical foundation for ourselves. How quickly time has passed! Our two year old (Stephanie) is now 30 living in the Seattle area with her husband Kyle while our son Jake is 22 and a senior at University of Louisville. I am blessed to be involved at Silver Creek Middle School as their 8th grade special needs inclusion teacher. I love the adults, the kids, and I look forward to going to school every day! When I am not working, I love to travel to historic spots, camp, hike, read, listen to podcasts, and play the piano! We have an eclectic group of ladies with big hearts and lots of love and support to give. We are daily inspirations to each other and embrace Proverbs 27:17...”As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Our hobbies and our jobs are all very different, but we love to get together for a meal and fellowship.

We train how to start Disciple Making Movements using simple, reproducible, biblically-based discipleship tools, most of which were put together by Curtis Sargeant. Millions have come to Christ through the application of these tools.
If you want to grow as a disciple, this group is for you! We use a Discovery Bible Study method 3 times a month to learn what the Bible teaches and encourage one another to obey its teachings. Every 4th week we learn basic lessons such as how to share the gospel in 3 minutes, how to share your testimony in 3 minutes, how to pray for an hour, how to read the Bible, how to have an accountability partner etc.. These tools are taught in a "hands on" fashion, so come ready to learn and participate.

Group Description
Hello! We are Tom and Katie Mason! We have lived in Southern Indiana for about four years now. We have three great kids, two teenage boys and a sprite of a nine year old daughter. We like to play games, hike an easy path, watch movies, and also eat yummy food.
Our hope is that this group will be a place where we can seek answers to questions about parenting, marriage or other tough seasons. Also, a safe place if you are wanting to seek God but not sure how, or for those that may have been hurt by the church but still want to know about Christ.
