THE RISING
As I watch students discover the wonder of who God is and let the reality of Christ settle into their hearts, I’m impressed with an observable truth. Students in this generation will go further than the generations ahead of them not because they are smarter or wiser. I am convinced this next generation will go beyond their previous leaders because of their experiences.
High school students are more open to experiences that create room for God to move in their hearts, in their families, and in their friendships. Experiences like serving others, investing in someone else, participating in mission trips to third world countries, and more all speak to the potential of their influence on this planet.
Our ministry to high school students helps to prepare them for life in Christ by helping them daily live their life in Christ. Worship and teaching, small groups, hanging out in community, reading scriptures, and just having someone to mentor them in the ways of Christ are the practices of this ministry. Our heart is on helping establish faithfulness in this generation.
