The sole basis of our belief is the Bible, which is uniquely God-inspired, without error, and the final authority on all matters on which it bears. As the Bible teaches, there is one God, eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each possessing all the attributes of Deity.

I Corinthians 15:1-8

“…that Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God who died for our sins and rose from the dead."

II Timothy 3:16

"...that the Bible is the inspired Word of God -- 'A lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path'."

Romans 3:23

"...that every person has worth as a creation of God, but that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."

John 3:16

"...that forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life are available to those who trust Christ as Savior and Lord."

Romans 10:9, Acts 2:38

"...that those accepting Christ should repent of sin, confess their faith and be baptized into Him."

Ephesians 4:1-16

"...that the Church is the body of Christ on earth and exists to introduce Christ to those who do not yet know Him -- and deepen the understanding of those who accept Him."

I Thessalonians 4:13-18

"...that Jesus Christ will one day return to earth and reign forever as King of Kings and Lord of Lords."

The Lord's Supper, or Holy Communion is served each service at Christ's invitation.

All who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior are welcome to join us in partaking. The small wafer of bread represents Christ's body which was sacrificed on the cross for the sins of mankind. The cup of juice stands for Jesus' blood which was shed so that we might all inherit eternal life.

You may remove the bread and the cup as they are passed and partake of them individually, after a time of quiet meditation. Membership at Northside Christian Church one may become a member or transfer membership upon having satisfied the following requirements:

1. Public expression of repentance of sins and faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
2. Water baptism by immersion, in accordance with the New Testament teaching.
3. Completion of the New Membership Class which is held the first weekend of every month in the Fireside Room. You can choose to attend on Saturday from 4:00-7:00pm, or Sunday from 9:00am-12:00pm.
