Daybreak
Daybreak is an eight week class designed to inspire and encourage single moms. The next session will begin on February 25th at Northside and will take place every Thursday for 10 weeks. The cost is free. During the class, testimonies are shared, practical living skills are taught, and new friendships are made. Each single mom is paired with an Encourager, a committed Christian woman who provides encouragements and guidance through the series.
Single mothers of any age and from any background are welcomed to attend, whether divorced, never married, expectant, or adoptive mothers. Childcare is provided. While their mothers are attending classes, children are fed, loved and nurtured by a caring staff. Children ages five and older are invited to participate in a program designed to help them build self-confidence and develop coping skills. The younger children are taught Christian values in a fun environment by use of stories, crafts, music and videos
The following topics will be covered during the next session:
Stretching Your Dollar
Understanding Your Personality
Feeding Your Family
Setting Goals
Solo Parenting Issues
Family Traditions
