SUMMER IS HERE!
When summertime comes each year, it’s a great chance to unplug and disconnect from your regular routine and schedule. But don’t let that be the case in your relationship with Jesus. Use the next steps and resources below to help you stay engaged and grow in your relationship with Jesus throughout the summer.
THE FIRST STEP OF BAPTISM
Baptism is a declaration to the world that you’re a follower of Jesus Christ. If you haven’t taken this step, we’re already looking forward to helping you take the plunge into your spiritual journey.
SCRIPTURE READING PLANS
If you’re having trouble knowing where to start when it comes to reading the Bible, we recommend starting with the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John). These are four separate accounts of the life and ministry of Jesus. Or you can jump into a reading plan!
BIBLE READING PLANS
Here are a few recommendations for books that should be on your summer reading list. Regardless of how you engage, we pray that these titles encourage, challenge, and sharpen you as you live out your faith.

NEXT GEN SUMMER CAMPS
Camp experiences are one of the best ways to help kids and students connect with Jesus and grow in their faith. Here are the upcoming camps for them this summer:
|DIVE IN CAMP
June 21 - 23
for elementary-aged kids entering 1st to 5th grades
June 27 - 29
for students entering 6th grade to graduated seniors
Summertime doesn’t mean recovery takes a vacation. If you’re struggling with a hurt, habit, or hang-up, Celebrate Recovery will continue to meet on campus through the summer. Additionally, Celebration Chapel is a weekly chapel service for prayer and connection with others. It happens on Monday nights at 6:30pm at the Northside campus.
SUMMER NIGHTS WITH PAUL
Few writings have shaped the landscape of Christianity like the Apostle Paul’s letter to the church in Rome. This June, Neal Windham will walk through Romans, talk about how you can apply it to your life and show what a true life of faith in Jesus Christ could look like. This four-week class begins Thursday, June 3, at 7:00pm. Childcare is provided.
WORD TO THE WISE
God calls us to gain wisdom, for wisdom is more valuable than gold, silver, and precious jewels. If we desire good in life and strength in relationships, it all comes down to wise living. From friendships to finances to faith, God’s word is full of practical and timeless wisdom. Follow along with our weekend message series, Word to the Wise, and walk in wisdom with us this summer. Word to the Wise begins the weekend of June 5 & 6.
