The man said “the woman you put here with me - she gave me some fruit from that tree, and I ate it.” Then the Lord God said to the women, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

Since the beginning of time we seem to never want to own up when we have done something wrong. We want to shift the blame onto others but God wants us to own up and confess our wrongs; shift the blame back onto ourselves.
