This week is based on the “Struggle of Suffering” sermon from the Saints & Struggles series. We are focusing on how God helps us in the midst of struggles. Slow down, read the text, and then let it read you…
“This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9 (NLT)
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
Galatians 6:2 (NIV)
When we face suffering, we are tempted to think that we are alone. The truth is we are never alone, because God is with us (even when it feels like He is not). Where do you need a reminder that God is with you? Also, we are called to carry each other's burdens. I don’t know about your suffering today, but does someone else? Or, is there someone you need to reach out to in order to help carry their burden?
