Unsung Heroes: July 11

This week’s readings are based on the Unsung Heroes sermon series. This season, we are looking at some of the lesser-known heroes of the faith, seeing the big impact they had, and understanding how we can learn from their example. Slow down, read the text, and then let it read you.

This weekend we learned how we are NOT defined by our failure but how God uses that failure for His glory.

The steps of a man are established by the LORD, And He delights in his way. When he falls, he will not be hurled headlong, Because the LORD is the One who holds his hand.
Psalm 37:23-24

Today, think about failures you might have had and how God might have used them to your benefit.
Dear God,

Thank you for not leaving me where I am and loving me despite my failures and shortcomings. Please help me to recognize how You have used my mistakes for my benefit. Thank You for being all knowing and all powerful!
