Care Night has been designed by the Care Ministry here at Northside Christian Church to promote unity and create community amongst our various care ministries which include: Celebrate Recovery, GriefShare, Divorce Care, and Cancer Support. It is our hope that Care Night will provide a place for all those who are hurting and broken to find not only a place where “It is okay to not be okay”, but also a place to heal, move forward, and thrive in relationship with Christ and with one another. If this sounds like what you have been looking for, please come and join us for food, fellowship, worship, and growth.
Care Night is held every Monday, apart from building closures. However, not all of our Care Ministries meet every Monday throughout the year. GriefShare, Divorce Care, and Cancer Support meet in 13-week cycles with short breaks in between. Northside and the Care Ministry would like to invite you to continue to attend Care Night during these breaks, especially if these nights offer you the life giving community, fellowship, and worship we hope they do.

We all have hurts, habits, and hang-ups. We want you to know that Celebrate Recovery is a place where it’s okay to not be okay. But here’s the cool part—you don’t have to stay that way. God’s radical grace provides not only a way out of the mess, but healing in the midst of it. No matter what you’re facing and no matter what you’re going through, we’re committed to navigating through the tough stuff with you. We are a Christ-Centered 12-Step LIFE RECOVERY Ministry to help you find true freedom.
Northside's Cancer Support group exists to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are encouraged in God's Spirit, empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by our church family. It is our desire that you come and find a place where you can receive hope and encouragement and a place where you can rest in the presence of Jesus Christ. Whether you are a care provider, going through cancer yourself, or have a loved one that has received this diagnosis, Northside Cancer Support is here for you.
Northside Christian Church is glad to be a host site for the GriefShare program which offers hope and healing to those who have lost a close loved one. “GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.” Whether you have lost someone recently or several years ago, we hope you will come and share your burden while learning to grieve well, celebrate life, and connect with others in the process.
Divorce Care is provided by Northside Christian Church to provide an encouraging and healthy Christ centered path through a confusing and difficult time. “You’ll discover there are people who understand your hurts, emotions and painful experiences! In divorce, it’s common to feel isolated. In DivorceCare, you’ll find that you are not alone, that there are others who understand what you are going through.” At Northside we invite you to attend Divorce Care and find the healing and help you have been looking for.
Celebration Place is a 52-week program that mirrors the Celebrate Recovery one-year, large group teaching schedule and curriculum plan; the uplifting, hope-filled, children's companion to Celebrate Recovery. While adults explore topics that bring healing and wholeness, their kids are discovering the same truths in age-appropriate ways! This program helps to lead kids in making Jesus the foundation of their lives; break cycles of dysfunction; and join their parents in forgiveness and healing, as well as developing friendships with other children whose parents are taking the hard step of resolving their pain and moving forward in life.
In Celebration Place children will use Bible stories, hands-on activities, prayer, journaling, and group discussions to help learn:
- Truths that help them avoid cycles of hurts, hang-ups, and habits.
- Ways to draw close to Jesus during challenging times.
- Language and experiences to understand what is happening in their homes.
