Saints & Struggles: April 29

This week’s readings are based on the “Struggle of Failure” sermon from the Saints & Struggles series. This season, we want to focus on how God helps us in the midst of struggles. Slow down, read the text, and then let it read you…

“The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand.”
Psalm 37:23-24 (NIV)

“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” Philippians 1:6 (NLT)

Only once did God use a perfect person (Jesus). Before that and ever since, He has worked through broken people. We will stumble, but will not fall. The reason, God began a good work, and He wants to bring it to completion. This is a lifelong process. Are you letting God work in your life? What good work is God trying to accomplish in your life right now (internally or externally)?
