This week is based on the “Struggle of Approval” sermon from the Saints & Struggles series. We are focusing on how God helps us in the midst of struggles. Slow down, read the text, and then let it read you…
“For my people have done two evil things: They have abandoned me—the fountain of living water. And they have dug for themselves cracked cisterns that can hold no water at all!”
Jeremiah 2:13 (NLT)
The problem with the struggle of approval is finding it in the wrong source. Jeremiah contrasts a fountain of living water with a cracked and leaking cistern. One is a constant source of life while the other is temporary. What source are you seeking approval from? Is it refreshing your life or leaving you thirsty?
