Over the past two years, our church family has walked together through an incredible journey of prayer, patience, and trust as we have sought God’s direction for the future of Northside. We’ve witnessed His faithfulness in countless ways: in the lives He has touched, the ministries He has grown, and the unity He has strengthened among us.
Now, we are overjoyed to share that this season of searching is coming to a close this past weekend, we announced the conclusion of our Lead Pastor search. Once again, God has provided — not just meeting our needs, but blessing us abundantly with the right leadership for the next chapter of ministry at Northside.
Introducing Our Three-Strand Lead Team
After prayerful consideration, our elders and leadership have embraced a three-strand Lead Team Pastor model, with Matt Allman, Trey Denny, and Aaron McClary serving together to shepherd our church. This approach allows us to lean into our strengths as a team, deepen pastoral care, and equip the church for a thriving future.
As Ecclesiastes reminds us:
"A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." — Ecclesiastes 4:12 (NIV)
All three will also continue as part of our Teaching Team, alongside Jacob Bales, Matt Reagan, and guest pastors throughout the year. This means Northside will remain committed to offering diverse, Spirit-led voices in our weekend services, a strength that has shaped our teaching ministry for the last two years.
We invite you to learn more about each of these pastors, their calling, and their heart for ministry:

Our Mission Remains the Same
Our God-given mission at Northside is to connect unconnected people to Christ, community, and calling. This mission is not just a statement, it’s the heartbeat of everything we do. Jesus Himself commanded it:
"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." — Matthew 28:19 (NIV)
We live out this mission by:
- Inviting people into community where they can encounter the love of Christ.
- Equipping believers to grow in faith and live as disciples who make disciples.
- Serving our neighbors in practical ways that reflect the heart of Jesus.
Our mission is not changing. No matter the structure, style, or season, we remain united in purpose. As Paul wrote:
"Stand firm in the one Spirit, striving together as one for the faith of the gospel." — Philippians 1:27 (NIV)
This season has been one of patience and trust:
"Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him." — Psalm 37:7 (NIV)
Now, as we step forward together, we trust the same God who has led us will continue to guide, unite, and equip us for the work ahead.
