Karena serves as the Associate Special Needs Minister and has a passion for creating an environment where people of all abilities feel welcomed, valued, and fully included. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Children's Ministry from Ozark Christian College, where God first called her to special needs ministry, and completed a residency with Southeast Christian Church's SHINE Disability Ministry. Karena is passionate about equipping the church to remove barriers, foster belonging, and help every person and family grow in their relationship with Christ.

Outside of ministry, Karena enjoys exploring local coffee shops, reading, and crafting. She also loves spending time with her family, cheering on soccer matches together!
