The goal is to help you think through some of the most basic issues related to studying the Bible and orient you to some of the key issues involved. The course explores the nature of Scripture; the literary genres in which it was written; historical, geographical, and cultural factors in the biblical text; prayerful and humble preparation for reading the Word of God; and other important topics.
